About us
An idea of founding Georgian International Medical and Public Health Association (GIMPHA) was born at “Medea 2012” meeting in 2012. This idea was inspired by GAMPHA (Georgian American Medical and Public Health Association) established by our fellow citizens working in the USA. On 27 October 2012 25 fellow citizen colleagues from 11 different countries gathered in Amsterdam; GIMPHA was founded by their joint decision and efforts, and was registered in Netherlands in February 2013. GIMPHA is a non-governmental organization. GAMPHA is our main partner in attaining our joint aim implying to support provision of improved medical services to Georgian population.
